We are a fast-growing firm and are looking to expand our Accounting team with the addition of a Property Accountant. This role will require a high degree of collaboration between the Accounting team and Property Managers so the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all organizational levels will be key.
What You'll Do
The Property Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of operational and development stage entities. Responsibilities will include preparation of financial reports, budgeting, cash management, and variance analyses. Other duties include:

We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a team and can collaborate across all levels of the organization. An ideal candidate is someone who has passion, a strong work ethic and the desire to make a positive impact in a growing organization. To be successful, the individual in this role will be detail oriented, highly organized, and will have a sense of urgency for critical deadlines.
We are looking for candidates with bachelor's degree in Accounting and preferably 2 years of related work experience. Property management software knowledge such as OneSite or Yardi is highly desirable, though not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

What You'll Do

- General ledger maintenance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Month and year end close
- Assist with projects and data research
- Other tasks as assigned
