WOBURN, MA, July 30, 2024 - Panther Residential Management (PRM) is pleased to announce the acquisition of The Villas at Capital Twenty. A newly developed 162-unit “Class A” single family rental community situated on 22.25 acres in Huntsville, Alabama.
The community features a combination of two and three-bedroom town homes, offering a comprehensive package of amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, as well as co-working spaces. All townhomes include private patios, garages, and expansive floorplans. The property is conveniently located close to the I-565 interchange. The community is central to numerous major employers, including Toyota-Mazda, Amazon, Polaris, and a lengthy list of leading aerospace and defense companies. The property is also less than 15 minutes from Redstone Arsenal, which contains a government and civilian contractor workforce of more than 50,000 personnel. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Huntsville MSA has experienced dramatic population growth. From 2013 to 2023 the resident population increased by 21.01%, outpacing the United States population growth by a factor of 3.52x. This trend is showing no signs of abating as since the pandemic, the MSA continued to grow by 11.78% from 2019 to 2023. Huntsville is buoyed by one of the strongest labor markets in the United States, with an unemployment rate of only 2.10% in May 2024.
This acquisition represents PRMs third Huntsville, AL asset currently in its portfolio and positioning PRM to continue to capitalize on one of the fastest growing sub-markets in the United States.
